Pernaton Gel

Pernaton Gel, the original green lipped mussel extract gel, has anti-inflammatory and chondro-protective properties which are used to treat a wide range of joint and muscle related problems in both humans and animals, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, lumbago and fibromyalgia, as well as general aches and pains. Research has shown that it has a greater range of beneficial effects than either glucosamine sulphate or chondroitin sulphate.

Pernaton Gel has also been found to improve muscle and training recovery actions, making it ideal for sports people; in fact it is currently being widely used by professional sports people, especially footballers.

Pernaton Gel contains Perna extract, a natural source of unique nourishing and regenerative substances from the sea. It has essential high-molecular GAG (Glycosaminoglycans) - natural properties found in the connective tissues, ligaments and joint cartilage within the body, as well as omega 3 fatty acids, minerals and vital L-amino acids and soothing menthol.

The green lipped mussels in Pernaton Gel are grown in the clean coastal waters of New Zealand. Even though the area already has a blue ocean environmental award, the ocean water and the mussels are constantly monitored for bacteria, toxins and heavy metals to ensure the high quality and safety of Pernaton Gel.

The process used to manufacture the Perna extract used in Pernaton Gel is specifically designed to create a therapeutic product, using a unique cold extraction process which does not use heat, chemicals or solvents. The extract is then freeze dried to ensure quality and purity, before being milled to produce a fine powder extract. This process was developed over 30 years ago, over the course of several years, using tried and tested time and temperature parameters.
